How old is harmony boucher

HB: It was kind of like electronic, rock, punk stuff. There were four of us in the band, and we're all from very different musical backgrounds. Our drummer was pop-punk and our bass player was very metal and heavy, fuzzy, noisy. Our guitarist was a complete nerd and then I'm like super pop, so you mash that all together and get this pop melody.

It worked somehow but if you try and explain it, and no one really understands. HB: It's helped and hindered. In some ways it's very good because it's a different look than most, but as of late there have been a lot of androgynous models—so it's made it harder for me to stand out again.

But then again, it's amazing because I don't get stared at when I walk down the street as much anymore because there are more of me around but on the other hand they're stealing my jobs, so it's good and it's bad. I remember my mom coming up to me when I was like 12 and told me I had to put a shirt on and I just didn't understand why.

I was a complete boy up until now to be honest. HB: I've been influenced by so many different styles. Since the age of 9 I grew up in Northern England so I was very much surrounded by "chav" culture, which I don't know what the American equivalent would be? It's like sportswear, trainers, fake designer clothes, earrings, slicked back hair in a ponytail.

Then I adopted the skinhead style, and when I moved to London at 18, I went through a club kid phase. Now it's kind of a mash up of everything.

I can bust out a dress and heels but if I want to feel comfortable I'm generally in like jeans and a t-shirt or a nice fitted suit. I guess it's my job to look good in anything, so I try to do that. I've always wanted to do menswear since I started modeling. She walked the cruise show for Gucci. She appeared in an editorial for the spring issue of Beauty Papers that was called Body. She appeared in an editorial for the spring issue of Heroine Magazine that was called Dawn of the Sun.

Fashion has both evolved and diversified and with it comes a slew of inspirational, original models, particularly from Britain, who we kind of want to be mates with, just as much as want to look like.

One such girl is Harmony Boucher, a model - she's walked for Christopher Kane - and singer with 4-piece Vuvuvultures. Hailing from North London where she lives with her wife, Nicole, Elite London's Harmony may look badass, but acts nice - and has awesome style to boot. Which is why we have no problem at all paying homage to her supercool androgynous style for this week's installment of The Debrief Dissects.

But, you know, I am a lady and I like feeling like one - even if it's just for special occasions. I feel overdressed when I wear a dress, but I do love getting my legs out! This spring I'm going to try and wear a bit more silk.

Oh and we totally think she can get away with a bow tie. And so can you.
