First thing that I do in the morning when I get in is go down to the childcare to check the room to make sure everything was left neat and clean and to see if any night person left any messages. When not doing childcare I check all inventory for our shakes, all paper supplies cups etc.
I check the ladies locker room bathroom and showers wipe them down if necessary. My most enjoyable part of my day is being with the children. Was this review helpful? My classes allow anyone and everyone to connect to their mind, body and soul which many gym-goers seem to love. The environment and staff was fun to be around all the time, but the location of the gym was in a ritzy area and customers went out of their way to not pay their bills, complain about mundane things, and lie to your face about everything.
Many know who the manager is and where he lives--going as so far as to go to his house to address particular issues. Other than that, it really was a a quirky place that had you befriending everyone. Pros Employee discount, free gym membership, friendly staff. Retro Fitness will be cancelling the memberships of those who don't transfer. While Gov. Phil Murphy has repeatedly said they could be opening "soon," no hard dates have been given.

The Retro Fitness in Secaucus has also reportedly closed. Community Policy. Been working out here for years. Great facility, plenty of wipes and spray bottles to keep stuff clean.
Most cardio equipment has TV with a fair selection of channels. Full set of free weights downstairs could stand to add another dozen or so 45 lb plates, and more barbells but definitely better than the competition especially conisdering the space constraints.
If you can get here outside of peak hours, you will be able to get a good workout. Be careful with the contracts though, they can be sneaky and ironclad. Facility is OK-- nothing great-- but cant work out on machines -- either upstairs or downstairs. How about a sign that says-- "If not working out- get off the equipment". For example-- from the machine at the bottom of steps-- kid sits there playing with his phone-- I did 3 other pieces of equipment-- tried to get on that one after 25 minutes-- he was "working here'.
Gym membership does no good if you cant work out-- Good Luck Retro-- you are going to need it. Says 24 hours I went at 3am on a Monday and it was closed don't advertise lies. Very nice gym!!! I've been a member of the gym 4 months and I like it!!!
